Tom Cruise Appears on Oprah
Tom Cruise appeared on the “Oprah Winfrey Show” today for a little reunion and while he wasn’t jumping all over couches it seemed like a pleasant chat. The show was to celebrate Tom Cruise career, the 25 year mark that is.
What happened 25 years ago? It was the release of “Risky Business” and we all got to see him dance around the room with a broom in his underwear. This is the movie that made him famous, after that he would become something many would want in his shows from Top Gun to Mission Impossible.
The last time Tom Cruise appeared on Oprah’s couch he jumped all over it shaking her and everything just to profess how much he LOVED Katie Holmes. But not this time, course now he’s got Katie Holmes as a wife and their beautiful little Suri. If he would’ve jumped up and down there would’ve been no telling what Suri would do later, especially since she was there.
Yes, Tom Cruise brought wife, Katie Holmes and their daughter, Suri but none of the other kids. Makes me a bit sad since they were really more of a part of “Risky Business” than these two. Love them to death but share the fame.
Only those that were actually at the studio got to meet with him, during breaks he walked around chatting with everyone and they all left with a box of ALL his movies. Oh no fair, I want that.
There will be a second segment of the show where Oprah actually interviews Tom at his home in Telluride, Co. I hear she asks about his riff with Brooke Shields and their friendship now and the upset between him and Today Show host Matt Lauer.
