Sumner Redstone Calls Tom Cruise a Friend

According to People Magazine, Sumner Redstone considers Tom Cruise to be his friend. This is a bit of a shock since their big and public fallout just a year ago. But in a press conference Redstone stated he’d not only support him in an action film but considered him a good friend. Wow.

“I consider Tom Cruise a great actor and a good friend.  And if Paramount decides – and they will make the decision – to move ahead with him, I will not object. That’s up to Brad Gray, who runs Paramount.  He will make the decision.”

Recently rumor spread about Tom joining Redstone at a restaurant in Beverly Hills and later announcing he’d be in Mission Impossible 4.
