Lions for Lambs Contest & Stills
The lastest new-soon-to-be-released movie with Tom Cruise in it, “Lions for Lambs” will be showing in November and MGM decided to kick it off with a bang. What type of bang you ask? MGM has decided to launch a Lions for Lambs Contest through YouTube.
Head on over to Lions for Lambs on Youtube and find out how you can help win. The winner will get to decide what charity gets $25,000. That’s one huge amount of cash to help make a difference in someone’s life. The winner will be announced on the same day “Lions for Lambs” is released, November 9th, 2007.
Here is the basic rundown on the rules:
Create a video explaining your thoughts about a key issue or cause in today’s world that you feel passionately about. Examples of topics include: ending hunger, the impact of global warming, woman’s rights, the genocide in Darfur, the withdrawal of U.S. troops from Iraq, U.S. immigration policy, etc.
You must be 18 or older.
Video must be under 90 seconds long.
No logos, trademarks, copyrights, etc.
Do NOT mention a charity of any type in your video.
Tom Cruise is actually in the video and states, “Make a difference. What do you stand for? Lets see your video.”
Currently there are 13 videos that are in the running. Will you be adding one? If you do, let us know here, maybe we can head over and watch it. Wish we could vote for it but a panel of judges will do that.
