George Clooney Gives Tom Cruise Advice

I guess stars like Tom Cruise and George Clooney love giving each other advice, especially when they think one really needs it. George Clooney’s “Michael Clayton,” was given an Oscar this past weekend and has given Tom Cruise some of his advice.

He basically believes Tom needs to make fun of himself a bit more. I agree, I think this would make him a bit more human instead of this SuperHuman he’s been trying to make everyone see. Come on Tom, we know you can do it.

“You try to defend an indefensible position, you’ll look like a schmuck. The guys I dig don’t do that. Look at Winston Churchill. He said, ‘These are our shortcomings. Now let’s get past it,� Clooney said. “I talked to him [Cruise] the other day, and he’s a good egg. There’s nothing self-serving about what he’s saying. He has to turn it into a way to make fun of himself.�
