Connor Cruise is Top Gun
Looks like like father like son when it comes to Tom Cruise and Connor. Why? He’s been down in Burbank taking flying lessons from none other than Tom Cruise, the King of the Skies. Now I guess it is only a matter of time before Connor is flying solo. Tom Cruise has been teaching Connor on his Cessna 172 Skyhawk, so far the pair have been in the sky three times and there were no crashes.
ET says:
At his father’s airplane hangar in Burbank this past Saturday afternoon—and after doing a few tricks on one of his two motorcycles—Connor boarded a small prop airplane for his flying lesson.
According to a source, Connor, with an instructor, practiced taking off, cruising and landing the Cessna 172 Skyhawk about three times. The teenager finished his lesson at 7:30 p.m. without incident.
Course just because Connor is learning to fly a plane at the age of 13, he can’t get a license until he’s 16. Sorry Connor, even daddy can’t buy that. But he sure can buy you your first plane.
By the way, this wasn’t the only thing Connor was doing with the old man. He was also seen riding Tom’s motorcycle around the lot and doing stunts. While I’m sure he wasn’t practicing for a movie, that too he’ll have to wait to get a license for.
