Tom Cruise Watch

Tom Cruise apparently talks to David Beckham all the time on the phone.   According to David Beckham’s newest unauthorized book, he even tells him what he should or should not do with the paparazzi. Tom has told him to actually interact and be positive with them, if you recall in the beginning of their move to America the Beckham’s would barely go out in public and when they did it was very quick. Now you get to see him shaking hands and joking around with them.

Tom Cruise was spotted hanging out with his son, Connor Cruise over the weekend. The two were seen heading in to the “Giorgio Baldi Italian Restaurant, course they were spotted by the paparazzi before they could get inside so there were quite a few pictures. But I don’t have access to them just yet, once I do I’ll definitely post them for you all to see. What do you think they ate?

Currently wife, Katie Holmes and daughter, Suri, are down in Melbourne Australia as Katie films the movies, “Don’t be Afraid of the Dark.” Many have been talking about these two splitting up, this is not the case. Oh and the other man she’s hanging out with is her co-star, no one else. She’s strictly a Tom’s Only type of gal.

Tom Cruise apparently partied it up with David Beckham and friends last night after the game. I’m unsure if it was just Beckhams and Cruise or if the Los Angeles Galaxy players all met up there, either way it sounds like they had a good time. They all stopped off at “Hyde” the swanky joint where all the celebs go in LA.

Some are stating that Katie was at home, this is NOT the case. Katie Holmes is currently in Australia shooting for “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” and taking care of their daughter, Suri. I’m sure she would’ve been there if she was in town.

According to RadarOnline.com it seems Victoria Beckham got a little upset when three young girls in short skirts came over asking her hubby, David Beckham, if they’d take a picture with them. David never noticed the flames shooting through her eyes though and after that he went and grabbed some girl’s behind and got some drinks. Not sure if Victoria saw that though, hopefully not.

Over the weekend things got really heated on an LA Field for one superstar. Just which Superstar are we talking, David Beckham.  Apparently one fan was getting so booing him and just making comments that it got the best of him and he tried to jump the barrier to get a closer confrontation during half-time. Thankfully security staff and team members were able to keep him back.

Tom Cruise recently went to one of Beyonce’s concerts down at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles and shook himself out on the dance floor. He even decided to add in one of Beyonce’s famous dance moves known as the “Single Ladies” dance. I’m not sure if this was to actually win tickets to her concert that will be held in Vegas or just because he felt like dancing. According to some she is having a contest, contestants must  dance to the first 60 seconds of her song “Single Ladies,” tickets would cost $250 if they must purchase one, however the winner will get free entry.  Course Tom did NOT dance just the first 60 seconds of the song, he danced the entire song.

No news just yet on who he attended this concert with, course my guess would be David Beckham or his son Connor Cruise.  We all know his wife, Katie Holmes, is currently in Australia filming for “Don’t be Afraid of the Dark.”  Something tells me we are all about to see dozens of photos popping up on the net showing him dancing. What do you think?

David Beckham admits to loving Tom Cruise’s name so much that once they became pregnant they decided to name their own child, CRUZ.

“I must admit, when Victoria and I met Tom Cruise, I remember turning around to Victoria and saying, ‘Cruise is a great name, but we could spell it different.’  David added, “And also, living in Spain, Cruz is spelled the way it is in Spanish. So that’s why we got it.”

Now that we know how the Beckham’s named one of their children I want to know how you picked out your names? I have two boys and two girls, the boys are each named after their background and one of their uncles. The girls were a bit harder to figure out.

Tom Cruise apparently didn’t just go shopping and to the aquarium yesterday, he also stopped off at the Zoo to show his precious Suri the Kangaroo. Of course as you know he did stop off at Meyer’s to get her a stuffed Kangaroo.

For those that missed my post on where they are, the Cruise/Holmes family (Tom, Katie and Suri) are currently in Melbourne, Australia waiting for Katie to begin filming for “Don’t be afraid of the Dark.”  Katie begins filming on Monday, not sure what Tom will do at that point.

Tom Cruise stopped off and did some shopping with his ladies, Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise yesterday and boy did they have a blast. Suri got a ton of toys and outfits as mom and dad shopped the stores.

Tom Cruise first stopped off at Myer’s City store and hit up the mid-season toy sale they were having. Yes, it seems even celebrities like to hit up the toy sales. Oh and to show, they got a plush toy kangaroo and hobby horse for Suri and a Mr.Potato Head bag which was free with gift purchase. Suri definitely made out on this trip but it didn’t stop there.

Next stop…FASHION. Tom grabbed up two sequinned frocks from Big by Fiona Scanlan and a few lip glosses she was eyeing at the make up area.  I think these are adorable outfits and my own daughters would love the ballet skirts or butterfly wings.  My guess is this was their way of treating her since they were going out on the town by themselves. I wonder if we’ll see her in them sometime soon.

Rumor has it Kate Ceberano may get the gig of singing to Tom Cruise on his 47th Birthday. This isn’t much of a stretch as far as rumors go since she has got the gig before and it seemed to really make his day. Not to mention she is one of those in high demand when it comes to Celebrity A-list crowds.

According to Kate, well there wasn’t much of a statement but read below:

“There are going to be so many stories while they’re here.  I’m not touching that one.

They are Mr and Mrs America.  They are great people and it will be lovely for Melbourne to be able to have that interaction with these kinds of people.”

When asked how she felt about her daughter, Gypsy (age 5) meeting Suri (age 3):

“Wouldn’t that be magic and fun?” she said.

So looks like we won’t be finding out if she plans on singing, but she is hoping to spend some time with the Cruise/Holmes family.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have reached their destination and arrived at Essendon via the family jet. That’s right they don’t risk taking those big airplanes. They arrived at the airport around noon today and once it did land they got even more special treatment. They taxied into an executive hanger and from there they left in their vehicle and head off to Crown.

Crown is the hotel they will be staying at while Katie Holmes is filming for “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark.” The filming will take 8 weeks to complete and then she’ll head back home, I’m guessing to LA however rumor has it they just bought that place in The Village so who knows. 

Before you ask, Little Suri was seen coming off the plane in her daddy’s arms. There was no sighting of either Isabella or Connor. From all understandings the couple will be staying in one of the best suites in the hotel, that owned by James Packer. Keep in mind this is the same James Packer that the Hollywood couple went to visit last year for his wedding. He arrived yesterday, some are saying to prepare for the Cruise Family.

Tom Cruise took the family on down to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series at the Infineon Raceway on Father’s Day down in Sonoma, California. Katie Holmes, Tom Cruise and Suri were all seen walking around down in the pit area where the cars are before the race. I’m guessing Connor was chit chatting with some of the drivers or in their booth area. Later you were able to spot Connor in his shades and a light blue t-shirt, Tom in a white collar shirt and glasses, but on his ears were headphones. Think he was reliving his old “Days of Thunder” Days? I wonder if his favorite car won.

Rumor has it Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes just bought a townhouse in New York. Wondering where? The Village. The house cost $15 Million and is 8,113 sq feet and it is in a very expensive neighborhood. So far the reps have denied this purchase but I’m thinking it is their way of trying to be a bit secretive, course all it will take is one person spotting them for the news to be released.

The house that was bought (according to rumors) is 42 West 12th Street. Take a peek at this marvelous place now.

US Magazine was able to ask Cameron Diaz about how she felt about working with Tom Cruise again. I think it is a bit obvious but here was her statement below:

“Well, if I didn’t like it, I wouldn’t be doing it,” she said. “I’m very, very excited about doing it. It’s an action film, so I’m really excited to work him.”

I mean, did they really think she’d say she hated the idea? I can’t wait to see pictures of them together for the show, they seem to have some interesting chemistry when they are together.
