Happy 46th Birthday Tom Cruise! We hope this one is better than last year’s!

Is it true? Can you picture Tom Cruise beginning his own Cable Company Business? Well that’s the newest Tom Cruise rumor coming from Gawker.

Out of all honesty, I don’t believe Tom is thinking of doing this right now. His main focus is his movies, upcoming and current and of course his film business. After that he’s got Scientology and his family, not in that order of course but you can tell that’s a lot to deal with. Now he’s also got adopted son, Connor, in the acting business so I’m sure he’ll be taking him under his wing as well.

It’s official the “Tom Cruise Site” is now Live, the count down is over. What’s there? Oh first off we have a personal message from Tom Cruise to his fans, following up with what’s new area. Then you’ve got your filmography, biography and of course the gallery. I can’t wait to see what else he has in store for us. Now it does take a minute to load, that or it’s just my computer.

Will you be heading out to watch the much anticipated, “Mad Money,” with Katie Holmes in it? Yes, tonight “Mad Money” will be playing in theaters everywhere. Those that have already seen it and writing reviews have rated it around 3 out of 5 stars, it’s definitely a light movie. Great for a quick show and a perfect chick flick.

Basically three female employees of a Federal Bank learn that the bank is going to destroy all the old cash. Instead of just burning it they decide to take it. Of course you’ll have everything from dancing, acting silly to stealing cash in this one. Actresses such as Diane Keaton, Queen Latifah and Kate Holmes.

It looks like it was finally time for Connor Cruise to be seen in public. Tom Cruise took his adopted son, Connor Cruise out for dinner for his birthday. Together in matching outfits they showed up with press galore at “The Cuts” down in Beverly Wilshire Hotel, one of Tom’s favorites haunts. I think this is definitely a great place to take a just turned 13 year old…it’ll make him feel like a man. I wonder what he ate though. No news on who all came with, but there were pictures of Tom and Connor coming out of “The Cut.”

Wonder where the Kidman Kids have been? Connor and Isabella have been staying with their aunt, Tom’s sister, down in Beverly Hills as a way of not having to uproot the kids. I give him a thumbs up for that, at least he wasn’t just ditching them.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes got married in front of 150 of their closest friends and relatives one year ago today. Not only was this girl-next-door marrying the man of her dreams but she was getting married in what every girl would believe to be the perfect wedding as a little girl…inside the Odescalchi Castle in Lake Bracciano in Italy. Now they day wasn’t perfect as it began a strong downpour but it was definitely a spectacular scene. 100s of guests showed up from all over the world just to see the event of the century…okay maybe a bit much but it was something to watch. I mean after all Tom had declared his love for Katie by jumping up and down on Oprah’s couch, proposed to her at the Eiffel Tower and then right before getting married they gave birth to baby Suri.

It seems many are upset over Katie Holmes being in the recent NYC marathon and it isn’t because she faked her name to Kate Smith. Turns out many think she got special treatment, for instance many had to sign up months in advance but Katie signed up AFTER the deadline. What’s your take on that? Should this be allowed?

60,000 other runners were denied to run in the event, however Katie ran it and didn’t qualify. Yes, she ran the whole thing, however her time was 5 hours, 29 minutes and 58 seconds to qualify she would’ve had to run it 3 hours and 23 minutes. How should one of the runners that could’ve done this feel?

Richard Finn, Director of Media Relations for marathon was asked about the special treatment:

“Celebrities and people with name recognition are important to every sport, it adds glitz and glamor.

Does Billy Crystal have trouble getting tickets to the Yankees World Series? No.

Do celebrities have trouble getting reservations in hot restaurants? No. In fact, they probably don’t even pay for the meals much of the time.”

She did it! She finsihed the NYC Marathon at 5 hours, 29 minutes and 58 seconds after it started. This is great! Congratulations to Katie Holmes.

Back in March she began doing interviews or talking to magazines about how she was losing her baby weight. It seems most of it came off not only for eating healthy but by training for the marathon.

Katie Holmes will be running in the New York Marathon on November 4, 2007. Do you think she’ll show up?

“She’s been training for months, in both L.A. and Berlin,” a friend tells OK!.
“Katie is determined to complete the race; she’s as fit and toned as ever.”

I think if she’s anything like I think I believe sh0e is, this is a dream of hers to run in the marathon and nothing is going to stop her. I think Tom Cruise will do anything to make all her dreams come true, even if it means pulling in security as she runs…which I do see happening. Before you worry about the shape she’s in, remember she has been training since she gave birth. Look how quickly she lost the baby weight and then how buff she was. This is a girl that wants this and I hope she can get it. Can you picture the turn out though if she does run? For those of you curious, it has been reported that Katie Holmes has been spotted jogging every morning while she’s been in Berlin. (Currently Tom Cruise has been shooting a film in Berlin.) Katie loves to run the European metropolis.

For those of you interested the ING New York Marathon, it will begin at the foot of the Verrazano Narrows Bridge in Staten Island. For those that may not know, this is a free marathon, you will NOT have to pay any money to join up. This is the type of marathon that runs about 90,000 runners every year and this year there are over $700,000 in prizes. While I’m sure Katie doesn’t need the money, it would be awesome to be one of those first three women to come across the finish line. This is one marathon that I’d love to join, of course I think I’d have to practice a lot more before I entered. Have you ever entered a marathon? Let’s talk about your experience.

The lastest new-soon-to-be-released movie with Tom Cruise in it, “Lions for Lambs” will be showing in November and MGM decided to kick it off with a bang. What type of bang you ask? MGM has decided to launch a Lions for Lambs Contest through YouTube.

The man that was holding Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes’ wedding photos ransom has been found dead. According to Sky News the police found David Hans Schmidt, 47, inside his home dead on Friday. The police realized that his tracker hadn’t moved in a few days and checked out his home, upon entering they found that he had committed suicide. David faced two years in federal prison if found guilty and was already on house arrest.

Schmidt was known for brokering photos that he would take of celebrities when no one should’ve seen them. He was even trying to sell Paris Hilton’s diairies and photos of her undressing in her home. Not only was he facing criminal charges and prison time but a very large fine to go with it.

“Lions for Lambs” is suppose to make another debut over at the 51st London Film Festival. Stars such as director Robert Redford, Tom Cruise, Meryl Streep, Michael Peña and Peter Berg are expected to show up.

Tom Cruise was voted, “World’s Sexiest Small Man” in an online poll. I wonder how he feels about this? Tom has always been worried about his height, but they aren’t picking on him, in fact they are calling him sexy.

In the running with him were Michael Owen, James MCAvoy, Lewis Hamilton, Richard Hammond, Mark Owen, Jamie Cullum and James MCAvoy.

Tom didn’t really tell everyone to shut up, what he actually said was, “‘Save your comments until you see the movie.” During an interview with Bunte Magazine Tom Cruise finally broke his silence about his latest movie, Valkyrie. Remember this is one that’s had a lot of twists and turns and that’s even before the movies even been completely filmed.

“All I can say is, ‘Save your comments until you see the movie.’ I want to think positive and concentrate on the film. I carry a great responsibility to the Germans, for whom a man like Stauffenberg means so much.”

“And I feel this responsibility to the man himself. The more I learn about him, the greater my respect and my admiration of him. Intuitively I saw a similarity in the profile of this man with myself. Naturally that’s something that makes an actor curious. We wanted the inner truth, so to speak, and location helps with that.”

Either way it sounds interesting enough to me.
