Tom Cruise Watch

According to In Touch Weekly, Katie Holmes looks pregnant (and I must agree) with a little belly showing. The article suggests that experts believe she’s around 12 weeks along, which almost ties in with my July predictions that she was pregnant. We all know Tom Cruise would be OVER THE MOON, if she were to announce this to the world. He’s made no secret that he’d like another child, I’m guessing a son to make the family even.

Recently during “All My Sons” (according to the piece) Katie’s characters carries LARGE purses on the stage to hide the possible tummy.  Someone told the magazine that Katie actually passed up champagne during a holiday dinner with friends. Hmm, could she be?

With her show ending now would be the perfect time, not to mention this would really explain the cold sores and the very ill/tired look she’s been carrying around with her.

If this is the case, Congrats to the happy couple.

Katie Holmes is rumored to have walked out on one of Tom Cruise’s after parties for his newest release, “Valkryie.” No one knows just why she left, maybe Tom was a bit cranky, she had a bad hair day, Suri was upset, etc. Course the rumors are she left after the two got in a “tiff.”  Right after the fight she went to stay with her mom and pop. I wonder if this holds any water.

Katie Holmes was spotted out in New York City, in the dead of winter (yesterday) wearing SHORTS. Katie was on her way to the Gerald Shoenfeld Theater, probably to get ready for another show. She wore short blue jean shorts, black tights underneath with really big high heals.

Every little girl needs a night out at the movies with mom, but I think it shocked the world when Katie Holmes took Suri to see Bolt. On December 27th, Suri dressed in a blue skirt, white blouse and clutching her dolly in a ballerina outfit were spotted heading to the movies. Katie wore bell bottom blue jeans, a sweater and gray wrist warmers.

Did anyone else see Bolt?

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have had to go to the FBI when they received their most recent death threat from an anti-Scientology activist. Being parents to three kids this should never be looked away on. I’m happy they went for help, it shows that they love their family and are smart about these things. Most would just ignore it. According to the article Tom Cruise has actually increased his security.

I found some nice family shots of Tom Cruise with Connor and Isabella at his LA Premiere of Valkyrie. I know we don’t see enough of Tom with these two and you can see the love they all have for one another. Tom of course is wearing a suite, son Connor is wearing slacks and a checkered black/grey sweatshirt and daughter, Isabella is wearing a really cute grey top and skirt. The family looked really nice and happy to be together. 

According to Access Hollywood they put a list of the top reviewers and showed whether or not you should see Valkyrie.

There have been a bunch of mixed reviews when it comes to Tom Cruise’s new movie, “Valkyrie.” Keep in mind everyone has their own opinion and you should see if for yourself, I’m going at the end of the month.

The Good:

“Even Cruise, whom many doubted could carry off the aristocratic elan of the blue-blooded von Stauffenberg, manages his part respectably, with a combination of ramrod posture, starched costumes and minimalist acting.” — The Washington Post

“The fact that the colonel was likely the most charismatic man in any room, eye patch or not, is something the actor has been able to connect to.” — The Los Angeles Times

The Bad:

“He’s distractingly bad, the iconography of his celebrity so strongly overshadowing his performance.”–The Associated Press.

“Fine, typically energetic performance in a film that requires nothing more of him than a profile and vigor,” but also concurs that the actor is “too modern, too American and way too Tom Cruise to make sense in the role.” –The New York Times

“Awful.” –Fox News

“Tom Cruise the movie star never disappears into Claus von Stauffenberg the brilliant military man.” — The Seattle Times

I have yet to see this movie but have plans to go in the next week. Any reviews from my readers?

Everyone is probably wondering how Valkyrie did since the release date was changed so often. It brought in $8M the first night it showed. This isn’t saying the movie was bad or good, but it has been beat by Jen and Brad, course that part was to be expected. I mean how many people compete against a Christmas movie? Or one with a dog?

The fact the movie was released on Christmas day could be another reason it didn’t bring in tons of dough this year. People are hurting for cash as it is and they are wanting to make the holidays memorable. Course Valkyrie still has the weekend and then we’ll know for sure. Who do you think will win?

My money is on Marley & Me and of course Four Christmases. Oh and for those keeping tabs, Tom Cruise’s son, Connor’s movie, “Seven Pounds” is doing great in the box office and still has more steam.

I almost can’t believed I just typed, “Tom Cruise spends $6000 in wrapping paper” I’ve heard of spending tons at Christmas but for wrapping paper. I’m hoping they just bought a bunch of gifts, but something tells me they bought the expensive paper. Doesn’t anyone know no one keeps the paper, it is ripped open and tossed in a trash bag.

Oh these poor rich people, they could’ve saved a ton.

“Tom and Katie are planning to wrap each present in $60 worth of wrapping paper and then put a $140 Jay Strongwater ornament on the top. With all the presents they have to send, they are going to be spending at least $6,000 on the paper alone.”

A source said: “Katie is determined to make Christmas a classy affair, and even has a different gift-wrap design for her family, friends and business associates.”

Tom Cruise went on the Jimmy Kimmel’s talk show and the first thing he said was that Jimmy had a great crew. Jimmy of course congratulated Tom for his Golden Globe nomination for Tropic Thunder. The two chatted about the giant hands and chest hair that Tom Cruise got during his role in the movie.

Tom admits to learning to dance as a child by watching Soul Train. Tom Cruise began getting comfortable on the chair, no there wasn’t any jumping. He did pull his leg up and rest. The two start talking about cooking and Tom invites Jimmy to his house for dinner. Hmm, a date? No, its all cool but somehow the conversation goes to porno.  Tom makes Carbanara (sp) and learned how to make it from a buddy that learned it from a guy in Tuscany. So I guess now Tom is going to have some porn pasta and share it with Jimmy.

With only days to spare, Katie Holmes was seen leaving her apartment in East New York. Katie looked as if she’d just stepped out of the shower or tossed mouse in her hair. She wore knee-high boots, a long white jacket and scarf. No clue if she actually shopped during this trip or not but there was no Tom Cruise or mini me with her.

Tom Cruise was recently nominated for a Golden Globe for his part in Tropic Thunder. This is a huge achievement for Tom, however his wife, Katie Holmes won’t be by his side when he attends the Golden Globe Ceremony. Instead Katie has decided to do her last show on Broadway for “All My Sons.”

The date of the Golden Globes and All My Sons final show is on the same day, January 11,2009. So far she hasn’t missed a single show and doesn’t plan on missing her last show.

I’ve noticed something with Katie Holmes, she loves to play dress up with her daughter, Suri. Has anyone ever noticed when she’s spotted hanging out with Suri she has on an identical outfit? I don’t know if this is Suri’s doing or her mom’s but sometimes it is cute and others it is downright weird.  Course in the picture above they do look adorable.

Katie and Suri are both seen wearing a Christmas red sweater as Suri applies cherry chapstick to her lips. At least the little Angel knows she needs to keep her lips moisturized.

Ever wonder why you don’t see Nicole Kidman around Isabell and Connor much? It might not be what you’d think. According to sources at the Star Magazine, Tom Cruise had papers drawn up immediately after the pair separated detailing when and how long Nicole could have the kids.

Apparently there will be a new issue hitting the stands that will prove exactly what the details are but they are throwing out a few hints.

-  when overnight visits are allowed

-  when she can take the kids somewhere

-  how much exposure are they allowed

-  where the papers are kept

-  how long she can see them

Now Tom’s reps are denying it but so far Nicole’s aren’t. So could this story be true or completely fabricated? Guess no one will know until they both speak up.
