Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes has already began planning Little Suri’s 2nd Birthday Party and it’s going to be one huge bash. No clue on any of the details yet but I heard they’ve asked Mark Ronson to DJ for Suri’s Party. No news on whether or not he’s accepted, I guess we’ll hear more in the coming months. Umm, does he want to be known as a DJ that plays at kids parties? Well, I guess he could always say “I DJ’d for Tom Cruise.”

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes wanted to get Marc Anthony and Jennifer Lopez’s twins something different from everyone else and did just that. They heard the couple had made the babies’ room into an ocean theme and bought them a giant fish tank. With just the right touches this could definitely add to the room. Imagine them watching the fish swim back and forth or listen to the water as it gently puts them to sleep.
Next month, Tom and Katie will be hosting a “Welcome to the World” Party for the twins and it is expected to be a huge event that is costing them $200K.
Did you ever doubt it? Last month, US Magazine voted Katie Holmes Chic in the Critics’ Choice’s Most Chic Stars Poll. She arrived at the Red Carpet wearing a one-shoulder dress by Lavin. To me it looked almost like a Toga outfit, but it really made her stand out. I’m a bit surprised that Tom Cruise actually let her out like that. Wow!

Rumors are flying all over the net that Nicole Kidman was drinking white wine at the Oscars. Honestly, I don’t believe it, this is a mom that has been dreaming of having her own biological child. Ya think she’ll chance it?
It seems a New York Post Columnist, Cindy Adams, supposibly saw Nicole drinking some white wine during the Oscars. Nicole’s Rep has come forward to state,
“Nicole Kidman most certainly did NOT drink white wine or any other alcoholic beverage backstage. She had water and lemon zinger tea. That’s it. I know, I was there with her.“I cannot remember that last time that Cindy Adams got anything right. She’s an idiot, and you can quote me.”
Ouch! But hey, what can you expect, she just went after Nicole. For those that still have doubts, keep in mind that Keith was also with Nicole.

I guess stars like Tom Cruise and George Clooney love giving each other advice, especially when they think one really needs it. George Clooney’s “Michael Clayton,” was given an Oscar this past weekend and has given Tom Cruise some of his advice.
He basically believes Tom needs to make fun of himself a bit more. I agree, I think this would make him a bit more human instead of this SuperHuman he’s been trying to make everyone see. Come on Tom, we know you can do it.

It’s no secret that when Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes throw a party they make sure it is is the party of the year. It was only last year that the happy couple threw a “Welcome to America” Party for the Beckham’s.
The party this time is for Jennifer Lopes and Marc Anthony’s twin babies. It was announced just last week that the happy couple gave birth to a little boy and a girl. No news on the names yet. The party will be held at Tom and Katie’s home in LA, this big mansion will be all done up in pinks and blues and include guests such as John Travolta, The Beckhams, Eva Longoria and many, many other celebrities and Scientologists. It is being said that it will cost over $200K, which could also explain why Katie was seen purchasing 6 newborn onesies recently. Whatever the case may be you can expect this to be the party of the year.

Ya know that necklace Nicole Kidman, of The Golden Compass, wore at the Oscar’s 80th Anniversary? People Magazine has announced that it was actually a 1399 carat rough diamond necklace that held 7645 individual diamonds inside the piece. Talk about having the riches wrapped around your neck, no wonder that’s all she needed with that black dress. For those wanting to know the necklace was designed by L’Wren Scott.

Tom Cruise skipped the Oscars this past Sunday to spend some time with his son, Connor, and headed to the tracks. Tom and Connor hung out at the pits in Fontana, California. They even got to toss a football with Nascar driver, Rick Hendrick and the other team members in the pitt. How’s that for the Oscars? Tom prefers oil over make-up, can ya really blame him?

While Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes stayed out of the public eye, Nicole Kidman did not. It was a shock for me to see her at the Red Carpet as I thought she was in another country promoting “The Golden Compass.” Appearing before everyone in a slim, black dress and thre layer diamond necklace she looked dazzling and you could barely tell there was a baby bump. I do think she looked cute, just wish she’d done more to her hair.
Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes were just two celebrities that graced the Essence’s First Annual Black Women in Hollywood Luncheon this past week. Katie Holmes may have recently played in Mad Money, but it was her best friend Jada Pinkett Smith that was being awarded at the Essence Party this past week. Others that showed up were Vivica A. Fox, Star Jones, Gabrielle Union, Kerry Washington, Raven Symone Pearman and many, many more.
That’s the question going around the blogosphere now, is Suri sheltered? Honestly, I can’t see how anyone would think that. Sure, she has her guards that are all over any street she occupies but sheltered? No way. This little toddler has already traveled the globe more than once. She’s went skiing, hiking, jet skiing (okay so she wasn’t on one but still). I even heard she was almost placed in a movie as the voice of a polar bear.
Sheltered is not little Suri. Rumors going around are:
- not allowed to watch television - Katie already debunked that rumor when she stated on a tv show that Suri’s favorite show is Idol. Umm, I guess she watches tv.
- Doesn’t stay up late- Yeah, and her parents don’t travel. I think it depends what time zone you are in if she stays up late or not.
- Suri isn’t told no- This I somewhat believe, I think Tom & Katie actually to the positive parenting thing where you give the child other options and hope they choose them.
- Suri is not allowed medicine- We all know how Tom Cruise feels about this and it is true, if anything she takes herbs.
- Not allowed Happy Meals- That’s true, Tom and Katie have her on a strict organic diet. No junk food for this little tyke.
It seems that only the rich can shop in style, normally when you or I go shopping we take our vehicle to the local store or mall. However, when Katie Holmes gets the itch to shop she boards one of Tom Cruise’s private jets and flies to places like Paris, England, France, New York City, etc. I guess when you’ve got the money it doesn’t matter where ya shop. I do recall just last month Tom Cruise was stating he was afraid Katie actually had a shopping addiction. Ummm, I think he’s right. Before marrying Tom, Katie used to buy Gap and stuff like that, now I doubt she’d drop dead if she had to wear something like that.
Katie Holmes came out of hiding last night in order to show her pretty face at the 10th Annual Costume Designer Guild Awards. Many have commented on how lovely the grey satin gown was on her that was embelleshed with crystals down the front, in my honest opinion it was lacking something. I think she would’ve looked stunning in an outfit of a different color, something to set off those cheekbones or even her hair color.
