Katie Holmes wins Life & Style Magazine Hot Hair Awards. I must admit I was shocked as I really like Gwenth’s hair, or for that matter Katie’s longer hair. But due to being able to see those stunning cheekbones she beat Gwen.

Rumor was that Tom Cruise would possibly get a role in “Tropic Thunder” and now with Owen Wilson dropping out of it will the movie be in jeopardy? Currently they are saying Owen’s piece will either be wrote out entirely or they’ll find someone to take his place.

As for Tom’s part, it’ll be a cameo part where he gets to play a big wig…but it hasn’t been 100% confirmed yet. Others that will be playing in Tropic Thunder are: Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Nick Nolte, Robert Downey Jr. and many others.

Many have wondered where Tom Cruise’s other two kids, Isabella and Connor, were since Katie, Tom and Suri were traveling all over the world this summer. According to the Star, the Cruise/Kidman kids went off to Scientology camp.

Not to worry it sounds like a regular camp and I’m sure at the end of the night they sit around and talk a bit about scientology but for the majority it sounds like a fun place. I mean they’ve got horseback riding, sports, etc.

Star Magazine reports:

“The summer camp is part of the Scientology’s “get them while they’re young” campaign. While they will be enjoying horseback riding, swimming and all kinds of fun activities, some of their day is devoted to Scientology coursework.”

Whatever the case may be, we certainly hope they had a fun time. We all know Suri and Katie did. I guess now that school should be starting back we should start seeing more photos of the whole family together.

Tom Cruise and Johnny Depp had been competing with each other with becoming the most powerful movie star in the Guinness Book of World Records. But it seems Tom has passed Johnny and is now #1.

Does it surprise you to hear that whatever Tom Cruise’s daughter, Suri, wants she gets? Probably not, especially when she comes from money. But boy does she know how to play daddy. hehe

According to the National Ledger:

“Katie was off having lunch with a few girlfriends, and when she came home, Tom was in the playroom assembling an enormous castle amid a cluster of collectible Shrek figures!” A family friend tells Star, “Tom had taken Suri on a little shopping spree, and Tom kept giving in! He can’t say not to Suri.”

Looks like she knows how to work her family too, because she goes from one to the next. Typical little girl that’s figured out how to play her parents. Who didn’t do this as a child?

Another insider tells Star that Katie was going through a toy catalog with Suri recently and everything she pointed to, Suri got! Not only that when the toys arrived, Suri got two lots of them – because unbeknownst to Katie, Tom’s mom had been playing the catalog game with Suri, too!

It is being reported that on a flight with only Katie Holmes, she wasn’t as nice as some would think. On a British Airways flight back to the London many learned how Katie can really be. Who knows maybe she was just having an off day.

Katie Holmes bordered the plane and seemed polite at first but refused to close the windows to let everyone sleep in first class. However, when the young royalty wanted her beauty sleep she expected everyone to close their window. Everyone else rebeled since she had never done them the curtesy even when asked to close her window earlier.

According to Janet Charlton’s Hollywood:

An hour after take-off the flight attendant advised passengers to close their windows so people who wanted to, could sleep. Everyone in first class closed their windows, but Katie refused for some reason. Hers was the only window with light glaring in and other travelers were annoyed. When the plane was a few hours outside Los Angeles and most flyers were awake, Katie decided SHE wanted to nap and asked the flight attendant to ask people to close their windows. Her fellow travelers were so irritated by her lack of cooperation earlier that they REBELLED and deliberately refused to close.

She could’ve been having an off day, or maybe she’s a bit claustrophobic. Whatever the case is, she got the same treatment she dished out.

Ya’ll seemed to like my Flashback Friday, so we’re going to make it a regular thing. Except I’d love to hear what you liked or disliked about that particular movie. So, have at it. This was my favorite scene, at one point I even thought it would be an ideal job because it looked like so much fun. That is until I tried it myself on some glasses I had, I ended up needing a dustpan.

Katie Holmes took Suri to Paris with her this past Thursday while Tom apparently stayed in Berlin. Currently the filming has been suspended due to the accident with the 11 extras, my guess is he had to stay there until it gets sorted out. But that didn’t stop Katie & Suri from having fun in Paris, they did what any girl would do…SHOP.

Tom Cruise and Matt Damon had dinner at the same restaurant yesterday afternoon, the Bocca di Bacco . Yes, the same place but not together. Actually Matt was eating on the first floor with his wife and kids while Tom was having a business meeting on the 2nd floor. When the two spotted one another they said their hello’s and marrily went on with their business.

Matt is currently in Berlin to promote his newest film, “The Bourne Ultimatum”, while Tom Cruise is filming, “Valkyrie.”

It is being reported that Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes do not sleep together, well that they don’t sleep in the same rooms. Keep in mind this does not mean they don’t do the “hanky-panky” they just don’t physically sleep in the same bed at night.

Why?

There are many reasons a couple may do this, in fact the hubster and I have done that a time or two. Imagine working different hours as I’m sure these two famous celebrities have done. Or another thing is they have an infant that may need someone in the middle of the night, my guess is Katie and Suri share the same wing. Another reason could be that one snores so badly that the other can’t sleep.

Of course rumors will spark over this one: Some may insist Tom’s gay, or that the two are having marriage problems. But my guess is one of the others, after all they are only human and may want that tiny bit of sleep.

Tom Cruise seems to keep running into trouble in one form or another with his current movie, “Valkyrie.” Some would suggest that the movie, “Valkryie” were cursed, while others just say it was bad luck. What do you think? According to reports the truck was turning a corner when a bolt came undone, 11 extras fell out.

First, Tom had several issues with doing the movie in Germany, then he couldn’t do it on the base, not on the property, etc. Finally he was allowed in, given a bit of money and when everyone thought it was going good an accident happens. Now I’ve heard of “Break a leg,” being a thing you say to actors going on stage but this was serious stuff.

11 people injured on the set of “Valkryie” and one being in the hospital due to serious injuries. It now looks like there could be worse problems as the “extras” have been to lawyers. Ariane Bluttner, attorney for the extras, plans on suing those responsible for the incident….the producers. United Artists production company (Tom’s) has not made any comment to them seeing a lawyer, however they had previously made comments about the incident.

“The injuries where ‘extremely minor,’” said Mayer, “and only nine extras were injured (not 11). The truck was going 15 miles per hour. The second unit was filming that day, and Tom Cruise was NOT working. Eight of the extras were treated for ‘cuts and bruises’ and the ninth was kept overnight for observation.”
