Looks like these were missed somehow the last time we saw Suri in Berlin. So it does seem that even though Tom Cruise was working his tail off for “Valkyrie” he was also spending some quality time with family.

I wanted to take a moment to thank Debbie Ford, blogger for TVonDVDBuzz, for the lovely header I have at the top of the site. Ya’ll see it? She created this lovely banner over the weekend, in which she got some very sad news. Thanks again Debbie and to all my readers out there why don’t ya head on over and tell her what a lovely header it is.
If you look I’ve got all three Cruise kids in the header, so many times Connor and Isabella are left out. But not at Tom Cruise Watch.
David Hans Schmidt wasn’t the only one involved in the extortion plot against Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes that were demanding $1 Million for pictures, there was another guy and David has already ratted him out.
Marc Lewis Gittleman was the second guy arrested on the plot operation. He was the one that had access to the photos after the photographer at the wedding had damage done and hired him to fix it. He decided to make a back up copy of the good pictures and went online to find Schmidt since he spealized in ransoming off photos to celebrities.
One things for sure, they both learned that blackmailing Tom only backfires on you.

Actually the truth is they did tip but someone leaked that they hadn’t. My guess is a paparazzi was watching the table and didn’t see them leave a tip. How many times have you personally gave the waiter/waitress their tip in passing? We always make sure we put it in their hand just in case.
According to reports last week, Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham were spotted eating lunch at the Mondrian Hotel’s Asia de Cuba restaurant in Hollywood and forgot to leave a tip. The waitress tried running after them to tell them they didn’t tip her but Victoria’s security stopped her from getting to close. Hmmm.
Usmagazine.com quoted A rep from Asia de Cuba that denied it all stating:
That it is false and the only truth to this story is that they did come in to Asia de Cuba for lunch. The server told me they were delightful, Katie paid while Victoria was away from the table and left a generous tip.”

The man that was trying extort money from Tom Cruise has been arrested. His name is David Hans Schmidt, 47, aka “Sultan of Sleaze.” For those that may not know David has been holding hostage some wedding photos of Katie Holmes from the couples wedding in 2006. Tom Cruise previously claimed they were stolen from him. Hmm, I wonder.
Either way he has been telling Tom that he needed to pay $1Mil to get them back. Tom Cruise took the matter to the FBI who arrested David this past Tuesday. Schmidt was being held in an FBI dention until yesterday when he was arraigned on a bond of $100,000. Schmidt has been known to steal xrated photos of celebrities in the past.

While we all know that Tom Cruise is playing the role of Col. Claus Schenk von Stauffenberg, the hero that tried to assasinate Adolf Hitler, we also know that it is just his role. But the German Church has decided to compare him to being a Nazi due to his scientology beliefs. Actually they are comparing him to Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels.
Thomas Gandow, chief spokesman on religious cults for the German Protestant Church, called Scientology a “totalitarian organization” and alleged that Cruise was “the Goebbels of Scientology,” according to various overseas reports, including the London Independent.
“This film will have the same propaganda advantages for Scientology as the 1936 Olympics had for the Nazis,” Gandow said, referring to the publicity the 1936 Berlin Games gave Germany.
Tom Cruise camp has struck back stating that:
“‘Valkyrie’ has nothing to do with Scientology. It is a historically accurate thriller developed by Bryan Singer and Christopher McQuarrie that presents the World War II resistance hero Col. Claus Schenk von Stauffenberg as the heroic and principled figure he was. To attempt to smear such a movie by comparing it to Nazi propaganda flies in the face of reason and logic — and even worse, it belittles the enormity of the Nazis’ crimes.”
They also mentioned that Gandow’s comments were wrong-headed (?) and irresponsible.
Who is Josesph Goebbels? Joseph was a minister that used his position as a propaganda to his own beliefs.
I find this all very funny, the Germans didn’t want Tom Crusie over there promoting his beliefs on anyone but they just won’t shut up about it. Hmmm, now if ya really don’t want to PUBLICIZE it then don’t talk about it. It’s really that simple. But maybe it is just me that thinks this way. (I doubt it)

It looks like Katie Holmes was doing a bit of Dirty Dancing with Tom Cruise at the “Welcome to America” Party. Take a look at that picture. Don’t they look like they were having fun. This is a couple that obviously doesn’t care what everyone else thinks, more power to them. Ewww, though, look at all that sweat on Tom, I could only imagine how hot that warehouse got. He definitely was working out, earlier this week we heard that Tom Cruise was doing the splits inside.

Tom Cruise is so special that when he hangs out down in Telluride, Colorado he gets the entire theater to himself if he wants to watch a movie. This of course has angered the locals? Can ya really blame the rest of the town for getting upset? While the rest must wait in line, Tom calls down and reserves the place for himself and Katie.
On a positive note, Tom Cruise doesn’t get it for free. Reserving the entire place does cost a lot of money, but Tom has that type of dough.
Hmm, I wonder what movie he has watched in the closed off theater.

During the “Welcome to America” Party, Will Smith told everyone that Tom Cruise had given him advice on life, which was, “Tom said to me the most important decision you’ll ever make in your life is the groups you choose to be a part of.” I totally agree with that, very logical. The people you choose in your life will be what make up your life, if you choose trouble makers that’s what your life will be like, party people, you’ll have parties all the time, etc.
Will then stated, Tom explained to him about picking a wife, “He said that when you choose your wife you’re choosing a life, and when you choose your friends you are choosing your life.” That last part was kind of what he had previously stated but still interesting. It does sound like Tom knows what he’s talking about, he’s not totally insane like many think.
Tom Cruise surprised guests at the “Welcome to America” Party this past Sunday when he suddenly did the splits while dancing with his lady love, Katie Holmes, in front of everyone there. Man, this guy is limber! But I must say he never does cease to shock us right?
Tom wasn’t the only one getting down on the dance floor, Will Smith and Jada were doing their thing along with the Beckhams. David was even heard saying, “I love you so much,” to wife, Victoria Beckham.
Of course there was lots of food to keep the guests happy ranging from England’s finest, sausage and mash to the American favorite hamburgers.

British Magazine reporter recently asked Maggie Gyllenhaal about her role on the new Batman Movie, The Dark Knight, and why she thought she got the part.
“I’m not walking into Katie Holmes’ performance. I’m not thinking of it as a role that anyone’s played before. I’m thinking of it as an opportunity to play somebody who’s alive and smart. Chris asked me to do this because he wanted me, not because he wants some generic lady in a dress.”
The truth is I agree and that isn’t meaning to be mean, but if you take on another person’s role you don’t want to be always compared to them. Maggie is her own person, she was chosen for this role for a reason, not because she is Katie but because she is herself. I can’t wait to see how this will all play out. I know many thinks it is because she was disses on Katie Holmes but the quote, “…not because he wants some generic lady in a dress,” might’ve meant that just because Katie wasn’t playing it meant the director would just pull anyone off the street. He pulled her in because she can act.

Tom Cruise flew in from Germany some time yesterday to attend the “Welcome to America” party for the Beckhams with his wife, Katie Holmes. While I was really hoping to find some shots of the couple meeting up at the airport I couldn’t, but I came across these lovely ones showing them holding hands, dancing and posing with friends.
Tom Cruise and Will Smith were the co-hosts of the event, but it was their ladies, Katie Holmes and Jada Pinkett-Smith that pulled off the event. What an event it was too.
It was a by invitation only party that Tom Cruise and Will Smith Co-hosted in honor of the Beckhams last night. Not even the press could get in, which means they camped outside the big event taking pictures of celebrities as they came and went. The big event took place in the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Geffen Contemporary gallery just after the sun went down.
This site follows Tom Cruise and his latest exploits both in his daily life with his family and in his movie/film career.
